Frequently asked questions

What is Life Prep Lab?

Life Prep Lab helps students practice everyday financial decisions through flashcards, scenarios, and a reference library.

Who can use Life Prep Lab?

The minimum age is 16. Students aged 16–17 need parent or guardian permission, and an adult must purchase their membership. Adults can buy access for themselves. The content is designed for ages 16–24, but older adults are welcome.

Can we try it first?

Each signed-in account can start three free demo sessions. Start with a scenario, explore three related flashcards, and review your takeaway. Optional reference questions are available at the end. Demo activity is separate from learning levels.

How does the free readiness test work?

A parent enters their email and shares the test invitation with their child. After the child finishes, the parent receives an emailed summary and a link to explore next steps.

Does my child need an email at checkout?

No. The parent uses their own email at checkout. After payment confirmation, the parent can create an invitation for their child to set up a student login.

Will progress be saved?

Use the same student account each time to return to saved learning progress. Demo sessions do not count toward learning levels.

Where do I manage my membership?

Use your private parent link, or request a new one with the email used at checkout. You can manage billing, cancellation, and refund help there.
